I wanted to get a series X but after the fiasco with rtx on consoles not being a thing, I chose the Laptop/PC route instead. And for those who still want the console controls there's control mods for java. Java at least on the other hand supports shaders, and you can do modpacks such as optifine and iris to optimize it really close, equal or even better than bedrock. I personally wish they fix the issue regarding shaders, as the gpu market is also pretty inflated at the moment, leaving most bedrock users in the dark.
If you have an RTX card, one of the best packs is Kelly's RTX which is the most stable, if you don't there is the YSS shaders, but if I recall the performance was subpar. Render dragon absolutely shafted shaders for bedrock sadly, so the options are very limited, some simply not working or require modifying game files to work (which if done wrong, or even right, can break things).
